SHAMANIC MEDICINE CARDS

This deck for me carries imagery to an amazing level that opens new doorways to insight that gives guidance on many levels ...
This is a new deck for me, and am absolutely loving the images.
This deck has visions from the Elements, the directions and so much more .
The Guidebook carries alot of information per card....
It begins with a journey of the card, what it means overall, continues to tell you what it reveals and what other Divinatory Meanings are,  then it shares a Personal Message ...

EXERCISE 

Take the Guidebook
Take a slow breath and focus on a question....
let the guidebook open and read the message...
Take the cards and choose a card ... Look at the two messages and find the answers that lie within ...to your question ...
Write in your Journal the messages that you receive and Divine the answers...



EXERCISE 

Taking a card..
Inhale and exhale slowly  .. focusing gently on the imagery of the card....
Keep focusing on the card as you find yourself stepping into the card....
look around you as you speak to the character... if there is no character look around and look at your own sensations...and be aware of how you are feeling.... Notice  colours, smells, anything you are touching, what does it feel like?   Notice all that you can and when you are  ready, Thank the character.. Thank your Spirit Guide and step out of the card....
Take a slow deep breath and relax....
Then take a moment in your journal to write everything you can remember about the card... every moment that you were inside the card, every smell, colours, everything your saw and touched...

 Trickster revealed
The Trickster takes on many forms, male, female, god or goddess, Spirit or Animal. They are all wise and skilled in self-willed behaviors. The trickster pushes peoples boundaries to test whether they run or stay the course. we learn from unexpected experiences and teachings the trickster brings. Sadly this purpose and meaning has been lost in modern times where the trickster is often depicted as a Fool, Clown or Comic.

Other Meanings ...
To move out of your comfort Zone and embrace new challenges. Stop procrastinating, for your purpose awaits. Release control, judgement and expectation. A surprise direction is a great blessing. An opportunity disguised in a situation is just what you've been waiting for ...

      Fire Speaks - Call upon the Spirit of Fire,
      Invoke new courage and all you desire.
      My force will ravish fears and plight,
      Ignite the flame of passion tonight.

      A fear of fire, a cold approach brings obstacles, offer warmth to others. a renewed passion. A sense of inner strength.

      What does fire mean to you .. for me it can speak of burning away of something that no longer serves you. a sense of being creative in one's journey. Finding one's own inner passion . To yearn, burn for someone, something ./.. With these cards I have started to find they give answers when you look at the imagery, think about the word... (sorry it took so long to reply... )

There are many ways to read this Spread.. Trust in how you choose to read it . This is one variation ...  Let us begin  by looking at the centre card 1) The Rider - News .. there is some news on it's way, what type of News, let's see what the other cards say, to modify the card related to the News ...  We look to the Left and we see Letter - so we know the news may be written .. To the right A Woman - is the written news from a woman or to the woman?    Above The Stars - maybe it is Spiritual  News on some level ...  Underneath - The Bear - Could be related to a Mother or are you the Mother... How I Connect With The Cards...

The Way I Connect with the Cards, the messages as individuals for each person. Knowing that each person is so different from another... I understand that everyone is different, All Readers read differently. They may use tools or no  tools . They may use Cards, Runes, I-Ching, Tea-leaves, palms and crystals.. You may even find a reader that connects with jewelry. There are so many ways a reader will read for a client. Even card readers read differently from each other, Some use Tarot, Oracle, or even Lenormand Cards, Others will use playing cards, they use specifically for Readings. Let us begin with the notion that  the cards are ink and paper, created by artists who wish to share a story. The Story developed over time with characters, symbols, colours. Images that allow one to open up within themselves. Why Do Readers Read Cards Differently?

Each Deck is so Different .. There are many different Tarot decks designed by many different amazing individuals… Every deck is perfect in it’s own way… Some images speak louder than others, that is because we as readers are all very different, we are individuals that like and are drawn to different artwork… Also our thoughts processors are individualized.  Our perceptions are individualized.  No one sees the same image in the same card. Different colours, characters, symbols stand out for each of us. That is why you will find different Tarot readers deliver the same messages in a different way.  And sometimes it can take awhile to make sense of a reading.. Today's Reading I decided to use Mists of Avalon for some reflection and used a Five card spread from the Guide Book ... I shuffled and Laid out the cards in the spread.... 1) Present Situation - The Isle of Avalon 2) The Past- Igraine 3) The Future Cerridwen 4) Hidden Influences- Priestess of Avalon 5) Possible Outcome - Nimue  My Summary   comes from the Words that stood out from around the card... Each card has four words relating to it on the card itself.  We look at what is happening right now, as we sense a period of resting and renewal, a healing from within... In the past it was about the acceptance of what was, looking forward to what is possible with inspiration that brings transformation on many levels.
