Angels and Archangels

There are many great books, meditation Compact discs and oracle decks on Angels and Archangels. There are many with many names, which working on different aspects within our lives. Angels and Archangels love to help us, guide us, show us what we need to know, but only when we ask, within reason. They will only intervene if we ask, because of free will. This book gives you techniques in working with the Angels and Archangels, not all of the information. You need to do all of your own research within self.

There are many Archangels let us start with the first four.

Archangel Michael - Indigo Aura, Archangel with a Sword and a Shield. This Archangel assists in cutting the cords of attachment, discordant energies, fear, whatever you are holding on to that is no good for you. There are many ways to ask for Archangel Michael’s help in cutting the cords. I will give you several ways I have experienced. Archangel Michael offers his cloak of protection and allowing you to speak your personal truth. I can also recommend Archangel Michael in repairing electrical appliances. Archangel Michael is also The Archangel of fixing things. You may feel a lot of warmth when he is around.

“Archangel Michael, I invoke you, to assist me to cut the cords of attachment, the cords of fear in all aspects of my life. (You can be specific if you wish).Please offers me your sword” Feel his sword in your hand and cut the cords in front of you. When finished, when you feel it is complete. “Thank You Archangel Michael for cutting the cords. Blessings, Thank You.”

Archangel Raphael-Emerald Green, but have been known to have a yellow ray. Archangel Raphael is also the Patron of Healers. Work with Archangel Raphael in all aspects of healing. After the Cords have been cut ask Archangel Raphael to apply the healing to the discordant energies to create positive programs within life. Archangel Raphael is also available when you are travelling to keep you and the vehicle safe and to get there safely.

“Archangel Raphael, I invoke you, to apply your emerald green ray of healing to the cords that have been removed to increase the love and compassion within my life and those that are affected by them on many levels. Blessings, Thank You.”

Archangel Gabriel-Light Aqua Blue (This has been my experience). Archangel Gabriel is the Archangel of inspiration, hopes, dreams and expressing one’s self on many levels. When you
wish to express yourself towards your hopes, goals, and what inspires you on any level affirm it with Archangel Gabriel.

“Archangel Gabriel, Allow me to communicate exactly what I want in my hopes, dreams and goals with integrity, love and compassion, Blessings, Thank You.”

Archangel Uriel-Fire yellow Aura. Allowing you to go through the Transformation that allows the old to be released and bringing through a feeling of renewal. This is the freedom to be who you need to be while being creative on many different levels.

“Archangel Uriel, Please allow me to go through this transformation as gently as possible to allow myself to be fully renewed with a sense of creativity, Thank You, Blessings.”

Archangel Ariel-Psychic awareness, awakening, mystery, healing

Archangel Zadkiel-Gentleness, kindness

Archangel Metatron-No mucking around here. This is about an understanding of the Universe. Working with Metatron’s cube of healing allows the connection within the Kabbalah. (As this is a specialist subject this will need further study).

Archangel Sandalphon -Divine awareness. Sandalphon brings the messages to God (Universal Deity) from the people.

Archangel Chamuel- Courage, passion, vitality.

Archangel Haniel- brings an inner power, strength, inner beauty.


There are so many great books on Angels and Archangels with so much more information. There are many Books that are specialists on Angels and Archangels. I suggest you read and gather the information you need to assist you on your journey.

Exercise 4:1

1. Sit quietly, straight back, music quietly in background, candles and incense (optional).
2. Close eyes, breathe deeply, inhale one, two, three, hold one, two, three, exhale, one two, three. Continue this, using this count.
3. Choose one Archangel to connect with from the list above.
4. Say “Archangel _______________ , I invoke you to be near me at this time, to assist me on my journey for whatever I may need.”
5. Feel; trust the sensations, any words, images etc...
6. Ask a question or ask “Do you have a message for me today?”
7. Listen, feel, trust. No right or wrong.
8. When it is completed, thank the Archangel.
9. Keep breathing, and return.
10. With your journal, write down the date and everything you got.
11. If you are able to draw with coloured pens, pencils, crayons the colours you saw, felt etc.


Trust in self. How did you feel? What do you think about this? Try this with the Archangels; this gives you guidance to know how different each Archangel is when they come through to you. They may touch your arm, put their arms around you or they may just touch your shoulders. They stand in front of you, behind you, close to you or maybe from a small distance away from you.
